Where has the time gone!!

This month, Matthew and i had our 9 month anniversary. It doesn't seem like too long to some, but we look at it as an amazing and accomplishment! I was looking back at when we had first met, when Matt first began being part of mine and the girls lives as a potential and eternal husband and daddy. From then until now, the changes not only in our life as a family but the changes in how much time has actually passed is both kind of sad but so fun! Here are some of the moments we have shared together as a family over the last 9 months and then some.

This was before Matt came into our lives

A couple dates into my life of CAOS!! And he stuck around!

We are in Boise meeting his parents, a little scary for me! His mom is intimidating!
I knew if he could love me looking this awful, it could last forever!

This was our little family before we knew what was about to happen!

And this was After! Wow!

Dreams do come true if you will just hold on the faith that it takes to help make them happen!

Rockstars, Fairies and Nose Holes

Oh my gosh! The girls are getting funnier by the day! Every night before we put the girls to sleep, we sing our prayer song, then each of the girls take turn saying their indivigual prayers. So the new prayer for Aaliyah is that she can't wait to be a Rockstar. So i guess the whole Doctor thing and pricking people is over and done with. She never wants help with anything, but when she is praying Mekhii totally takes over the role of what I am supposed to do. Aaliyah will whisper, very angrily, at her and tell her she doesn't need help. But then she doesn't know what to say and looks to Mekhii and says "What should i say?" So then, Mekhii, the "Minnie Mom" helps her finish her prayer. Now Mekhii on the other hand has totally different ideas of what she wants and is grateful for. She gets so excited. Her face lights up with so much hope. She just can't wait for the day that her Pink Fairy Wings grow in when she is bigger and she becomes a "Pink Fairy or Butterfly". Oh boy, what do you say to such dreams?? Well, Zharaa hasn't quite learned the whole concept of prayers, but she did figure out something even cooler! Her nose holes! That is the best thing ever for her right now. We were on our way to Alpine, i look back and with a GIANT smile on her face, she had her finger about up as far as she could go into her nose! She wasn't picking it or anything. She was just admiring out the window at the cars and animals, and made very sure that her finger stayed in that nose hole! She was very content and happy :)

Bangs

Well, i think i had a mental breakdown this last week. I have vowed ever since i had my fist child, i wouldn't ever cut bangs! I had just seen to many butchered bangs that mom's had cut into their daughters hair. Well, I have officially become one of those mom's. The worst part about it, is that i have been doing hair for 6 years and i still managed to butcher Zharaa's bangs. Her hair is insane! Stick straight, and just hangs in her face. She has gotten use to looking around with her neck cranked upward, trying to look through small openings of the hair that was straight over her eyes! I was so sick of not being able to see her cute eyes. So without thinking through my decision i sat her on the highchair, wrapped my apron around her neck and swipped it off. I now know why babies bangs, more likely than not, end up crooked and to short. Babies don't hold still, they want to see what you are doing and then they start trying to get your scissors. Well i can see her beautiful eyes now, and then i can see the wack job bangs just above them.
Mekhii thought they were "beautiful". I can always count on her to make myself feel better. She looked at me with the cutest face and asked if i would cut her some bangs like Zharaa. Oh man, i couldn't resist. So i cut her bangs as well. So, of course Aaliyah is watching and says she wants bangs too. The conclusion to this story is, that a split second decision to be able to see my child's face turned into a bang cutting session, one that i swore i would never do.:) But you know what, they all look super cute, so NOW i can say i don't regret doing it. I love my girls, bangs and all.
These are pictures of Zharaa's lovely hair before her haircut! After pics of all the girls are coming soon!

Finally getting around to scrapbooking, well, sort of :)

Matt and I are coming up on our 9 month aniversary! It's amazing how time flies like that! He just changed his major to Philosophy and a minor in English. We really don't have a whole lot of time to see each other, kind of a bummer. But, he is working so hard to make an amazing life for us. He is planning on taking the LSAT in the Fall, which means even more school and studying. Oh well we will be making millions of dollars soon :) i give it 4 years :) Anyway, So after he takes his big test, we get to start applying for Law schools! I can't wait! He has became a an amazing daddy and husband, more than I could have ever asked for.
I have continued doing hair out of my salon in Alpine and in my cinder block apartment at good old Wymount Terrace in Provo! I love what I do!!! It's so cool to be able to do hair and not have to put my kids in daycare, they just hang out while I do my thing, uhhh, well at least most of the time. I am currently training to run a half marathon in May and then, if i am still alive at that point, I will be doing my first Marathon in June!!! I think i have gone crazy, but, I look at it as a good way to stay motivated, to work out, and stay fit :) Eventually I would love to train and be in an Iron Man competition!
Aaliyah is in her second year of Preschool and i honestly can't wait for Mekhii to start as well! Ha! It's just nice to have that two hours in the day with a little less chaos, but that's why I keep having kids apparently! Aaliyah is such a little sweet heart and will never intentionally hurt my feelings or do things to upset me. She is so funny cause she will not wear anything that doesn't match!! She is my little Fashionista! I love it, cause for the most part she looks soooo cute and actually matches! She is totally into accessories like scarfs and earings and hats, I think she is going to be a clothing designer when she grows up. Except that she told me she wants to be a doctor so that she can "prick" people.
Mekhii has turned into a spunky little toddler. Not only will she refuse to wear pants, only dresses, everything is pink and fluff and glitter, and she has to have her hair perfect the way SHE likes it AAAHHH!! Girly girl to a T! She is so good at sharing, most of the time, and is super quick to forgive. She scares me for the very reason that my dad started busting up laughing after a major tantrum she had. He said that she is an EXACT cookiecutter child like I was as a toddler! Lets get this clear! That can be a very flattering comment, or it can also mean that she is already grounded and locked in her room for the rest of her life in a straight jacket! Enough said. She can always make our day better with her gorgeous smile and witty comments!
Now Zharaa, well I think when you see her pictures there really is nothing else to be said! She is crazy!! HOly Cow! I never thought I could have a baby that had more attitude then Mekhii, I obviously spoke WAY to soon I guess, cause little Zharaa has more than one personality for sure! I love that Matt can just laugh at her when she is CONSTANTLY freaking out, while i am in the corner rocking back and forth sucking my thumb! I will admit though, she is a mama's girl, and i love that! The moment she gets up from sleeping, I go into her room and she is pointing to her closet to clothes that she wants to wear. I will hold her up to her clothes and she will pick her own outfit out. Mind you, she is 17 months old :) She has already had a broken ankle, her face never goes without having a bruise on it, and has burned herself on the clothing iron more than I can count!
Well if you got through this okay with the countless spelling errors and dry jokes :), I can't wait to share more of the amazing and stressfull experiences, we as the Wiberg Family, experience every single day.
